This little watercolour is inspired by our nearby Sandbanks, one of the largest freshwater beaches in the province.

Waters warn of an approaching storm

Along the trails, fallen trees become homes for new growth

Fallen trees rest under their kin

After the heat of summer, the beach begins to shine in the remaining days of warmth

The Dunes of the shoreline call us to climb

Deep in the forest, the old growth becomes a resting spot for new tangles

As the days become shorter, the grasses slowly fade in colour

Fallen branches stay close to their mother trunk and the vines grow around both

Areas around the pond become flooded after a storms of Autumn

The beauty of sand and water marching together

The silence of ghost trees lingers throughout the forest

Although the summer is coming to an end, the leaves hold on until the winds scatters each in different directions
